A great alternative for breakfast or a snack, convenient to take on the road, to work or school. Buns are fluffy, satisfying and fragrant.
Curl buns on kefir
To prepare the dough:
- egg – 2 pcs.
- sugar – 2 tbsp. spoons
- kefir – 120 ml.
- cottage cheese – 200 g
- flour – 1.5 cups
- salt – on the tip of a knife
- baking powder – 1 teaspoon
To prepare the filling:
- mozzarella cheese – 200 g.
- basil greens – bunch
- parsley – bunch
- egg – 2 pcs.
Step by step recipe
Knead the dough:
- beat eggs in a bowl, mix with sugar
- add kefir and cottage cheese, stir, lightly salt
- sift flour, combine with baking powder, pour into the total mass, knead the dough, it should be elastic enough, not stick to the surface and hands, roll out well
- add a little more flour if necessary
- roll into one ball, wrap in cling film and leave to rest for 30 minutes
Let’s move on to the stuffing:
- put eggs in a saucepan, add water and put on fire
- cook for 5-7 minutes, cool
- cool, peel and grate on a coarse grater or cut into small cubes
- Rinse the greens well in cold water, dry with a paper towel and chop
- grate cheese
- mix all ingredients together
Rolling the buns:
- divide the dough into several parts
- dust the work surface with flour
- roll out the first part into a layer about 3 mm thick.
- spread the filling over the entire surface
- roll into a roll
- cut into pieces about 3 centimeters thick
- line a baking sheet with parchment paper, turn on the oven
- put the buns stuffing on top
- do the same with the rest of the dough and filling
- when the baking sheet is completely filled, put it in the oven for baking
Take out the finished curls, place the next batch on a baking sheet and bake.

Yeast dough rolls
To prepare the dough:
- egg – 1 pc.
- sugar – 100 g.
- milk – 200 g.
- pressed yeast – 7 g.
- flour – 2 cups
- vegetable oil – 2 tbsp. spoons
For filling:
- egg – 2 pcs.
- green onion shoots – 1 bunch
- hard cheese – 120 g.
- mayonnaise – 100 ml.
Step by step recipe:
- pour warm, about 40 degrees, milk into a small container
- add sugar and yeast
- place and leave in a warm place until the yeast begins to work
- if the yeast is fresh, then after 15 minutes, beat the egg into the mixture, add vegetable oil and flour
- knead the dough with your hands
- cover with foil and let rise for 30 minutes
- precipitate, knead well and leave for another 30 minutes
- meanwhile, hard boil eggs, peel, grate
- grate the cheese too
- Wash the onion shoots, pat dry and finely chop
- mix in one container, add mayonnaise
- roll out the dough on a work surface, grease with a layer of filling, twist into a roll and divide into equal parts 4 centimeters thick
- put on a greased baking sheet, put in a warm place so that the buns increase in volume
- place in preheated oven for baking
- top can be smeared with whipped yolk, bake until golden brown
Curl buns turn out so lush, tasty and unusual that there is absolutely no strength to leave them on a plate, even if the stomach is already full to capacity.
