Oatmeal is not only an Englishman’s breakfast, but also a favorite product on the territory of the post-Soviet state, it is a healthy porridge, most often instant, at an affordable price. It is very useful and nutritious and satisfying, keeps the feeling of satiety for a long time and fills the body with the necessary energy. It can be not just a banal oatmeal with butter, but a real full-fledged and nutritious dessert that the whole family will enjoy with pleasure.

- oatmeal – 150 g.
- milk 3.2% – 500 ml.
- honey – 2 tbsp. spoons
- apple – 1-2 pcs.
- pinch of sea salt
- butter – 1 tbsp. spoon
For applesauce:
- apples – 3 pcs.
- cane sugar – 100 g.
- butter – 60 g.
- ground cinnamon – ½ teaspoon
- sprig of mint
Step by step recipe:
- Rinse apples in clean water, dry with a towel, peel, remove the core with seeds from two and cut into medium-sized cubes
- melt the butter in a frying pan, put the apples and fry for 3-5 minutes, remove from heat and put on a plate
- pour milk into a saucepan, bring to a boil, add oatmeal, mix, hold on fire for 1-2 minutes, add honey and fried apples
- close the lid and leave for 10-15 minutes
- after the time has elapsed, spread in bowls or glasses with a wide mouth and put in the refrigerator until completely solidified for 1 hour
- meanwhile, cut the remaining apples in half without removing the peel, remove the insides and divide into cubes, approximately the same size
- put butter in a frying pan, heat it up, put apples, add cane sugar and ground cinnamon
- mix and leave to caramelize for 5-7 minutes, constantly moving them around the pan so that the caramel completely covers the surface of the apples
- Remove the cooled oatmeal pudding from the refrigerator, pour over the hot caramelized apple and cinnamon sauce and serve immediately.
A great breakfast is ready, it will give your body a healthy boost of energy, and so that you don’t have to get up too early to prepare it, the pudding can be made in the evening and left in the cold all night, in the morning just finish the sauce quickly.
