A Mexican dish very reminiscent of a burger, sandwich or sandwich, the main filling of which is cheese wrapped in a wheat tortilla.
For cooking:
- tortilla – 3 pcs.
- tomato paste – 3 tbsp. spoons
- semi-hard cheese – 120 g.
- mozzarella cheese – 3 balls
- chorizo sausage – 150 g.
- chicken egg – 3 pcs.
- hot pepper flakes
- vegetable oil for frying
- salt, ground black pepper to taste
- arugula – a small bunch
Step by step recipe:
- put the cakes in a preheated oven to 100 degrees for a few minutes
- brush with tomato paste
- top with grated cheese, then mozzarella rings
- cut the sausage into thin slices, spread over the surface (chorizo is a pork sausage with a spicy taste, with the addition of a large amount of red paprika, which gives a rich color to the product)
- fry the eggs in a frying pan with a little vegetable oil, salt, pepper
- Sprinkle red pepper flakes on top
- put one egg in each tortilla
- garnish with arugula leaves, which must first be washed well and dried with a paper towel
Arugula – has a wide range of useful substances, it promotes weight loss, increases vitality, fights the formation of cancer cells, prevents liver damage. It is a source of antioxidants, improves the body’s metabolism.
wrap the cake in half, press lightly and leave in the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees for 5-6 minutes.
Then remove and serve hot to the table.
Quesadilla with chorizo and vegetables
For cooking:
- lavash – 2 pcs.
- chorizo - 150 g.
- Bulgarian pepper – 1 pc.
- onion – 1 pc.
- corn – ½ can
- mozzarella – 200 g.
- tomato sauce – 2 tbsp. spoons
- chard – a small bunch
- jalapeno – 2 pods
- ground garlic – ⅓ teaspoon
- oregano – ⅓ teaspoon
- ground black pepper
Step by step recipe:
- cut pita bread into rectangular pieces, grease with tomato sauce
- peel the onion, cut into half rings
- Peel the peppers from seeds and white partitions, cut into strips
- fry onion and pepper in vegetable oil
- grate mozzarella on a coarse grater
- sausage – thin slices
- put fried vegetables and corn grains on a flat cake, sprinkle generously with cheese, pepper, add spices and lettuce
- roll the cake in the middle and reheat in the oven, in a pan or on the grill
Serve hot.

- garlic – 2 cloves
- salt, black ground pepper
- hot red pepper – 1 pod
- lemon juice – 1 pc.
Step by step recipe:
- Wash all vegetables well and pat dry.
- peel and cut into small cubes
- mix in a deep container, season with lemon juice, salt, pepper, add hot pepper and garlic passed through a press
- chop the parsley, add to the total mass
- mix, leave in a cold place for 30 minutes
Serve with a hearty and flavorful tortilla.
An excellent appetizer for a large company in the countryside, in the country or on a hike, it is prepared quickly, from improvised ingredients, you just need to get a little confused, but it’s definitely worth it.
